Blur Teacher

This incident happened on 17th of January. I was at the third language lesson listening to the boring German teacher. Then, suddenly a person knocked on the door. I took a look at my watch.

The person was ten minutes late for class. He walked in and took a seat near me. The teacher asked for his name and he said without hesitation “ken”. In an instant I know he was an imposter.

Without failure all his friends in the class laugh out loudly. The teacher ticked the name and continued teaching. Throughout the lesson the teacher did not even realize that he was not ken and he was not from his class.

With a lenient teacher the class was of course very rowdy and the teacher had a hard and laborious time teaching the class and no one was bothered to listen. The recess bell came. And we went for the break. He was not discovered.

Then the recess ended and we continued with the lessons. All of a sudden the head of department of German came in. He walked straight to the boy and talked to the person beside the boy.

“Hand it over” he said. And a handphone was taken out of the pocket and placed on his hand. The head of department then talked about the proper discipline in class and walked away with the handphone.

After he went I could see the pale face of the imposter slowly regaining back its color.

VS Track and Field Team Runs No Matter Rain Or Shine

This incident happened on the 14th of January when we were at East Coast Park. After our warm-up our coach Mr Tan told us to jog five kilometers .So there we are at East Coast Park under the blazing hot sun, jogging.

After about an hour, the sky started to turn dark and soon it began to drizzle. In this situation we could turn around and run back or continue running. After much consideration we carried on running. Then it started to rain. Beads of rain pelted down my forehead and rowed down my cheek.

We wrestled against the thought to give up and told ourselves that we had only two more kilometers to go. Anyway what more can us loose since we are already wet, so we continued. With only one more kilometer to success we persevered.

Then a loud thunder came, it caused our ear to throb in pain. But nonetheless it did not cause us to give in. Then, we saw the finishing line ahead of us. All of us increased our velocity and sprint past the finishing line.

The Victorians are victorious once again.

Trip to China

Today I attended a meeting held by Mr Su. In that meeting he told us that our china buddies will be coming over to Singapore on the 25th of January. He also gave us the itinerary. Thinking back, I could not help it but to feel a sense of remorse. I felt remorseful because it ended so quickly.

On 11th December, I left Singapore and went to china. I went to china with seven other friends of mine together with the Victoria School teacher: Mr Su on an exchange program. Fortunately or unfortunately, we went with Cedar Girls School.

I had really enjoyed myself on this trip and I believe the others had done so too. In this trip we get to stay with our buddy and experience what their life styles are like. This added lots of fun to the trip.

During the days there I discovered some interesting things. The first interesting thing is that the driver’s seat is on the left side. This is as their roads are constructed such that there are more left turns then right.

The second thing I found out is that they bathe once in every three days because of the cold weather.

In conclusion I felt that this trip is really beneficial and since they will be coming over soon I hope that they will have much fun in Singapore.
